The grand finale of Close up Nepali Tara 2 has just ended. After the selection of 35 rounds of singing talent, finally two contestants were choosen. Tara Bdr. Laksam and Santosh Lama. 22 years Santosh Lama of Naubise, Dhading was entitled with Close Up Nepali 2 by Maha Jodi.

E: How did you feel when you were entitled with the Close Up Nepali Tara 2 ?
S: First of all, I felt proud, happy and felt My Mother's dream came true.

E: Who was the first person you remembered, when your name was announced as the winner of Close Up Nepali 2 ?
S: Obviously , it was My Mother.

E: Who are your source of inspiration ?
S: Inspired from Bindhu lama (Sister), sanjay lama and sashi lama.

E: Who would you like to thank first ?
S: First of all I would like to thank My Classical Guru, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal and to all the Nepalese people who voted and supported me.

E: What are your upcoming plans ?
S: I am having various programmes in UK, Malaysia, Singapore and Hongkong.

E: How much confident were you to be a Close Up Nepali 2 ?
S: Honestly saying, a bit confident but doubt in Voting System.

E: After being entitled with Close Up Nepali 2, How far have your responsibilty built in Nepali Music Industry ?
S: 100% responsibility and i will try to become an icon for Nepali Music and sing for the people of New Nepal.

E: Who were your favorite Judges in Close Up Nepali Tara 2 ?
S: Respected Sir Deepak Jangam and Ram Thapa were my favorite judges.

E: Can you share one of your unforgetable memories during the stay in Close Up Nepali 2?
S: Ya of course, when my colleage Yubraj Tiwari was eliminited from Close Up Nepali Tara 2, i couldn't stop my tears being rolled down from my eyes.

E: What is Music for you ?
S: Music is My Life, My Soul and its everything for me.
