Mero Mobile, the telecommunication service provider under TeliaSonera Group and product franchise of Spice Nepal Pvt Ltd,will slash costs for calls made from Mero Mobile to other networks from April 14 (Baishakh 1 of 2066 BS).
 
As per the new tariff, a local call from a Mero Mobile postpaid or prepaid phone to Nepal Telecom (NTC) fixed line and United Telecom Limited (UTL) fixed line have been fixed at Rs 1.89 and Rs 2.13, down from Rs 2.75 and Rs 3.49 respectively.

Similarly, costs for a call from a Mero Mobile postpaid or prepaid phone to an NTC mobile and UTL mobile will stand at Rs 2.29 and and 2.53 respectively. This is down from Rs 2.75 and 3.99 respectively.

Charges have been cut for SMS services as well. Local short message service (SMS) charges from Mero Mobile to NTC and UTL has been slashed down by 50 percent to Rs 1.

Mero Mobile, will also shortly launch mobile data card, that allows internet surfing from anywhere.
