A solid partnership between Sarad Veswaker and Gyanendra Malla scripted another win for Nepal against Qatar in the second match of ACC Trophy Elite Cup 2008 in Malaysia on Saturday.

Nepal registered seven-wicket victory after chasing the target of just 171 runs from allotted 50 overs game.

Earlier, Qatar made 171 losing all wickets in 47.5 overs. Shakti Gauchan and Basata Regmi took three wickets each while skipper Binod Das took two wickets.

In reply, after openers failed, Gyanendra Malla and Sarad Veswaker made a solid partnership to ensure the team's victory. Kanishka Chaugai contributed 20 runs.

Shakti Gauchan was declared Man of the Match for his three important wickets. Nepal will play its third match against Singapore on 28th July.
