She’s gorgeous, she’s candid and she’s stylish! Sonam Kapoor is the new diva in the making, or perhaps she already is one. But amidst the whole dressing up and looking good criteria, Sonam has time and again proved that she is a simple girl. Previously we reported Sonam making her sister Rhea her stylist (Sonam Kapoor’s Beauty Secrets, Dated 3/1/2011). Now she is on a mission to boost the economy of Nepal.

The dazzling actress is on a spree to promote Nepal and is asking tourists to visit the abode of Buddha. Although Sonam is not the brand Ambassador of the country, she has revived the activist in her and feels that if she promotes the beautiful nation, Nepal will benefit.

Nepal has witnessed political turmoil and violence for some years now. It is in recent times that normalcy has been restored, and the picturesque nation wants to reach out to the world. Sonam is playing an important role in promoting the great Himalayan culture and destinations and it is believed that the AISHA actress would be soon taking a trip herself to the land of the Himalayas.

By taking this step, Sonam has joined the list of beauties who along with their busy careers have also taken up important causes. Kudos to you Sonam!
