The Vibez Set to Rock ANA!

Some may pretend to show less interest when they hear about our local artists/bands going abroad for concerts but let’s face it. Deep inside, we leap out of sheer joy every time such news makes it to the headlines. And this time, is no exception. The multi-award winning rock band The Vibez are booking their tickets to the United States of America!

Recipient of Image Awards and Hits FM Music Awards for their smash “Thaki Saken”, The Vibez was formed only few years ago in San Francisco but even in such a short span of time, they’ve been able to impress the critics as well as the audience. Thanks to their album “The Vibez Generation” and thanks to their hard work and success, they will be performing at ANA Fashion Extravaganza 2010!!! The Nepalese American band consisting of Direk Lal Shrestha, Prayeen Singh and Rupak Lama will be rocking the stage of the highly reputed fashion show for the second time! Yes, they had the chance to make their appearance in 2006 as well when it took place in Los Angeles. And this year, the local Nepalese residing in the US can enjoy their favorite local band making a comeback on stage! The event will take place on July 3, 2010 at The Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers, Boston marking the celebration of Fourth of July.

Well, although the trio hasn’t performed any concerts in Nepal till now, we are definitely proud to see them creating vibes in many major cities of the US. We’re sure they will consider giving a live show here in the country as well but until that happens, let’s cheer The Vibez for their action abroad. What other reasons would Non Resident Nepalese need to attend the extravaganza! It’s an absolute musical delight mingled with the aura of fashion.
