McMohan died, Mac Mohan actor as Sambha in Sholay

MacMohan, who played the famous role in sholay as sambha is dead (passed away) due to cancer on 11the may 2010.

McMohan started his career with the film Haqeeqat in 1964, acted in over 175 films. Mac Mohan died at the age of 71 at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. His daughter told reporters that he had a tumor in his right lung. Mac Mohan is survived by his wife Mini, daughter Vinati and son Vikrant.

He is also the maternal uncle of popular Bollywood actress, Raveena Tandon. Raveena was also present at his home after his body came from the hospital. He worked in a number of hit Bollywood films like ‘Shaan’, ‘Satte Pe Satta’, ‘The Burning Train’ and ‘Don’ etc.
