Acharya - a real-life story

Satya Raj Acharya and Swaroop Raj Acharya who loyally followed their father’s footsteps and have established themselves as promising singers are geared up to bring the real life story of their father - Bhaktaraj Acharya, into reel-life.

Speaking to journalists at a press conference held at Vintage Café and Pub in Durbar Marg last Sunday, Satya-Swaroop made it official that “Acharya”, a real-life story of their father will soon be screened. It is being directed by Prashant Rasaily and produced by Roshan Rai with Satya Swaroop, the movie will uncover the entire journey of a musical genius.

This movie will be filmed in various locations of India and Nepal.Satya Raj Acharya is finalized to play the leading role. As per the production team, the shooting will begin this December and they plan to wrap it off by the end of January 2010. The movie is slated to release in mid-April or the first week of May in 2010.
